Practicing yoga since the mid 90's, Sarah was inspired by a friend who thought she could benefit from yoga while she was pregnant, since then she has explored many different types of yoga and has enjoyed them all.
When asked what she loves the most about yoga, Sarah loves how much we can benefit from doing our practices when we keep a routine, the changes our whole selves go through when we stay in the moment and when we work on what is in front of us, a whole new heightened of awareness comes to us. She believes our bodies love exercise. They love good, healthy, whole foods and when we take care of our bodies, our bodies take care of us. |

Mary's devotion to yoga rests in part on the giving nature of it. That is, the more yoga is practiced, the more gifts it bestows. Her focus is on yoga as a map to wellness: the physical practice of building strength, flexibility, and balance may also translate into a metaphor for everyday life. This is also her focus in teaching. She enjoys creativity in yoga sequences--sometimes incorporating dance elements that provide similar benefits--and a relaxed class atmosphere in which laughter is encouraged.
Practicing yoga since 2002 and undergoing teacher training through Integrative Yoga Therapy in 2006, Mary has been guided by teachers including Joseph Le Page, Lilian Le Page, Ellen Shaffer, and Joyce Anue and continues to attend additional training when she can. She is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. |

Lindsay started practicing yoga 5 years ago after a close friend invited her to a class. Despite being nervous, she soon found that her true passion was waiting for her on the mat. "I love my relationship with yoga! It has brought me stillness within the chaos, silence within the noise."
Lindsay loves brining the physical as well as spiritual benefits of yoga to others. She finds joy in helping others find a mind/body connection through pranayama (breath), vinyasa (movement) and asana (posture/alignment). "There is a yogi in everyone and I feel very special when I get to guide people through their own journey with yoga."

Melissa started practicing yoga eight years ago. Her passion for the practice quickly turned into a desire to teach yoga. She began her teacher training and picked up teaching opportunities with the YMCA, PLU, and SKYoga. Teaching for seven years now, she continues to have a deep enthusiasm for yoga and sharing its contagiousness with others.
Melissa loves challenging her students, whether for self-growth, spiritual renewal, or simply the sweaty, physical challenge. Melissa recently returned to rock climbing after taking too many years off, and her blisters prove it!
She also enjoys running, being outdoors to hike or play, paddleboarding, and enjoying time with her family and friends.
She loves being connected to a gym/yoga studio that cares so much about its members and dedication to the challenges of physical and mental fitness through rock climbing. |
