This is the one I saw first when I googled ' one armed campus'.

What was everyone else looking at?

I had posted a link to another campusing video where some d00de would pull up and lock off with one arm at a time as opposed to the normal two.

they're both one arm campusing technically but one is one arm pull-up campusing and the other is one arm dyno campusing.  either way who cares who can do a one arm pull up or not.  sounds like a whole lot of not climbing to me.

one thing you have to realize if you have ever climbed on pvc slopers it is extremely easy compared to and actual campus board.

Got a zen koan for you....what is the sound one hand smacking a forehead?

All this time I thought people were saying "canvas" and not "campus." The former makes some sense to me, since to canvas something is to cover it. What is the derivation of campus in this sense?

Inquiring minds want to know.

campus is fefering to the action of campusing which is done on an overhanging wall on wooden rungs to increase climbing contact and lock-off strength.  it was first developed by wolfgang gullich in the famous Campus gym.  if you've been to edgeworks they have a campus board there.  be wary of it's ability tweak fingers, and tear tendons.

Grin Cheesy Wink   I attend school on a college campus. I accomplish this fact with two feet. Sometimes I have to use my hands to open doors, but otherwise I am ropeless. I like my method of campusing. I learn a lot. Tongue
